Sumita is an LA based luxury cosmetic brand focusing on eyebrow and eye products and I was given the opportunity to review some of their products. I was sent two eye pencils, a gel eyeliner pot (which I'm going to review separately) a brow pencil and brow wax to try out. The packaging is GORGEOUS, with a south Asian inspired look. The boxes feature a simplistic henna design which is so out of the ordinary for makeup brands and makes their products stand out even more.

I got the shades Violet and Midnight Blue which are insanely pretty, and I'm not exaggerating in the slightest! The formula is described as waterproof and oil- enriched and I couldn't agree more. They're pigmented, creamy and don't budge all day. They retail at $19 (around £14) which is a pretty standard price. I've tried eye pencils from Urban Decay, MAC, Laura Mercier, NARS and more but Sumita has some of the best by FAR. It's rare to find pencils which are so rich in colour and long lasting. I love using this in my waterline, smoking them out underneath or as a base for my eyeshadow. Highly recommend! I can't wait to try more colours out.

Doing my eyebrows during my makeup routine is by far my least favourite part, so I'm always excited to try new products which are quick and easy to use. The oval tip (similar to the ABH Brow Definer) is versatile as you can use the thin edge to draw a precise shape and then use the wider edge to fill your brows in. This pencil comes in three shades: light, medium and dark. The cons to this pencil are that the colour isn't buildable and you can't use much of it. It just looks weird and unnatural if you try to use more product even if you blend a lot. It's definitely only suited to those with already thick brows with a naturally defined shape. This retails at $19 (around £14) which I think is reasonable for a good brow product which will last a good while.

We all get them unruly brow hairs which aren't just annoying but make our brows look messy too. A little of this brow wax before or after applying your brow product will keep them in shape all day. The formula is quite firm (as most brow products are) to ensure that it really sticks to the hairs. This product isn't a necessity to your collection but can make a big difference some! This retails at $21 (around £15) which is again pretty standard.

There are 5 different Clarisonics in the range which vary in power settings and uses.
The Aria has three power settings (delicate, universal and powerful). It also features a 'T-timer' which runs on a one minute cycle but is adjustable, this works by designating a set amount of time to your forehead, T- zone and each cheek.

I use mine once a day with the Origins 'A Perfect World' cleanser (reviewed briefly in my morning skincare routine post) which foams up slightly. I typically use it on the delicate and universal settings as I think it's better to be more gentle on your skin on a daily basis. I only use it on powerful when I'm doing a little facial at home (once a week). I saw a difference in my skin within about two weeks (results vary) as my skin became noticeably softer and more radiant.

Is it worth the price? YES! It's the best investment I've ever made, it's made a big improvement to my skin and I'm not exaggerating in the slightest. People (and myself when I was younger) are sometimes under the illusion that you need to have 'bad skin' to invest in good skincare products but it really isn't the case. I'd recommend the Clarisonic to literally anyone and everyone, also men! It's the type of product which you use and you wonder how you've ever lived without it (dramatic but it's true). We often get put off by prices and dismiss products like this, but wouldn't mind spending that amount on MAC lipsticks or a few eyeshadow palettes... we're all guilty of it!.
Try it out instore (Debenhams, Selfridges and House of Fraser stock them) to get an idea of what it's like. If you do buy one, let me know how you get on with it! xxxxx

Hey girls! So during the summer I find it too hot for full glam everyday (for those who can do it, you're amazing!). My face feels way too heavy and begins to look nasty under a lot of heat :( I have some set products that I use for my everyday makeup which ensure that my face feels light and my makeup is simple, yet still gorgeous!
Dior Star foundation: My favourite, dewy foundation which looks stunning in photos and is super light yet gives a lovely medium coverage! (Thorough review down below)Bare Minerals 'Mineral Veil': I mentioned in a previous post that I'm not a HUGE fan of this powder but it's been working quite well for me this summer. I use it for powdering throughout the day and as it's small and fits very conveniently in my makeup bag. I find that after blotting a few times, it's better to just powder down the area and this powder is perfect for that and it's so light and looks flawless on my skinUrban Decay Perversion mascara: With one coat my eyelashes look super voluminous and long, my currently favourite mascara!Red Cherry lashes in #dw: Super light- weight and wispy eyelashes, you can't go wrong! They're perfect as they feel almost non- existent on my eyelashes and add extra volume and length to my natural lashesGivenchy 'Le Rouge' lipstick in 'Rose Taffetas': I tend to wear pinky/ coral lip colours through the summer and this colour is so pretty! Very pretty!LA Pro concealer in 'Toast': I've been using this to subtly contour and it works wondersssssssssss, it's so good and cheap! This colour is a little dark for me so I would purchase the shade lighter but nevertheless, it's simple and easy to use and looks super natural on the skinSleek contour kit in medium: I use the contour shade to lightly set my cream contour and then use the highlight colour to highlight (of course) which can I mention is one of my favourite highlighters ever! It's a really pretty gold highlight and is surprisingly pigmented for a drugstore highlighterBobbi Brown dark spot corrector in 'Dark Bisque': I simple use this to colour correct any pigmentation on my face, light and high coverage. Definate recommendation to anyone looking for a good colour corrector for ashynessMaybelline 'Fit me' concealer in 15: I purchased this a shade lighter than my actual shade as I got it online and kind of just flopped, but when I use it over where I have colour corrected and I set it with a coloured powder, it actually looks fine! Super creamy formula with a medium coverage and blends like a dreamYSL Touche Eclat: A lightweight pen concealer which gives a very luminous finish to the skin where you want to highlight, looks very pretty and natural under the sun!Smashbox primers (Photo finish hydrating and under eye primer): Both amazing primers which ENSURE beautiful photography! I immediately see the difference once I've done my makeup as my skin is glowing so much and my makeup remains hydrated all day. - I recently decided to try out the new, limited edition, Anastasia Beverly Hills Self- made palette and I don't regret it one bit! Another divine palette with such sleek and classy packaging, I was in love when I saw it. The colours are gorgeous with amazing pigmentation! It's definitely so underrated. The palette also comes with a double ended brush which is really handy to have, especially as an on-the-go palette. For £26, you can't go wrong for a palette which can offer you an infinite amount of looks (with a double- ended brush!)My favourite shades are definitely 'Deep purple', 'Spirit rock' and 'Pink champagne' as they are just so effortlessly pretty and I don't own any shades like them. Even if this palette is not still available, it's still worth knowing what their eyeshadows are like for future reference if one of their palettes appeals to you but you're unsure due to not being able to swatch it yourself. The only down side of this palette is that there are a few shades (such as 'Isla' and 'Witchy') that I wouldn't really ever use, but that is the case with majority of eyeshadow palettes so I'm not too bothered. Nevertheless, for the price and quality... ABH palettes are a no brainer in my opinion! Completely worth it. I was playing around with it and created this easy yet glam purple eye look using it and I LOVED the results.

I used the shade 'Deep purple' as a base colour all over my lid and 'Metallic plum' on top as I love a bit of glitter sometimes and it really bought the look together! I added a little 'Hot chocolate' and 'Spirit rock' in my crease to deepen up the colour, making it perfect for an evening look. It didn't take longer than 10 minutes and I got a load of compliments on my makeup. Perfect.NARS Creamy Concealer in 'Ginger'You all know this is a cult favourite that every MUA and beauty blogger will rave about, so there's not much else to say apart from it's the best concealer I have ever tried.L'Oreal Volume Million LashesMy go- to. It's better than any other mascara I've tried including the Smashbox Full Exposure, Benefit They're Real and Chanel Le Volume (and many more). Don't believe me? Try it out yourself and you'll understand what I mean.Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in 'Dark Brown'Perfect for those who love a natural brow to full- on drag brow. The formula is so creamy and blendable, it's a serious game changer for your makeup. There are no dupes for this product in my opinion, (especially not in the drugstore) as they just don't reach the quality of ABH. Invest in this and you won't ever regret it. Plus it'll last you a lifetime.Shu Uemura Eyelash CurlerI cannot express how good this eyelash curler is. It gives the prettiest, effortless, natural curl to even the shortest of eyelashes. It's definitely worth the hype, and is now in my top 3 favourite beauty products of all time.Kat Von D liquid lipstick in Lolita (Most recent batch)The shade is not at all similar to any other lip product I've tried, so don't believe the dupes you find online because majority of them are completely off Lolita (i.e. Colourpop Stingraye is NOTHING like it). It's a perfect chestnut brown with a tinge of pink (the colour is pretty difficult to describe lol) and it looks so gorgeous on every skin tone. It's probably one of most (if not the most) hyped up liquid lipsticks in 2015 and I'm not at all surprised by this after trying it. The formula is amazing too, a lot better than ABH and Colourpop liquid lipsticks. I'm so glad I managed to find it in the UK, definitely buy it if you can!NYX lip creamsThe most comfortable formula I've ever tried and they offer a huge range of shades! From super nude to dark cherry. Two of my favourites (in the photo) are everyday shades which I love. Stockholm (left) and London (right), a gorgeous pink mauve and nude, perfect for skintones NC25- NC40. Cheap and pretty.Anastasia Beverly Hills Powder Contour Kit in 'Light- Medium'Another cult favourite. I use it everyday to contour (Java and Fawn) and highlight (Banana and Vanilla) and I think I would struggle without it now! It's pricey but it's amazing, from the pigmentation to how effortlessly it blends. Perfect for beginners or experts!NARS Sheer Glow foundation in 'Barcelona'Finally, my favourite product of 2015. It has a medium (buildable) coverage with a gorgeous satin finish (I like to blend it out with a beauty blender for a sheer coverage). NARS have some of the best shades for olive skin tones (very yellow) with Barcelona matching perfectly to my skin (I'm Pubjab in the winter). I've received a countless amount of compliments on my skin whilst wearing this foundation and I absolutely love it. Super comfortable and it lasts well for at least 10 hours. I recently purchased the new Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation and I sold it within a week as it didn't compare to Sheer Glow one bit (I'm fussy because of it now LOL). I couldn't recommend this foundation enough! I have normal- dry skin and it works beautifully on me.Have an amazing 2016 girls! My new obsession, the NARS pure radiant tinted moisturiser. It retails for £29.50 and has 50ml worth of product in it (foundations are generally only 30ml). I picked up the shade St Moritz (Medium 1) which is a perfect match for me. It's comparable to Stromboli/ Barcelona in their foundations.I was searching for the perfect tinted moisturiser as I needed something lighter than a foundation for everyday use. I read loads of reviews and decided to invest in this one as its quite popular amongst the tonnes of tinted moisturisers out on the market. I could have opted for something cheaper (from Boots/ Superdrug) but I always believe it's worth investing more in your base products.One factor which made me lean towards NARS is how well their shades suit me compared to other brands. They have an amazing shade range and it's something they're popular for. An example is my gorgeous friend Emma who recently bought Sheer Glow in the shade Gobi (Light 3) and it matches her pink undertone perfectly.I use a pea sized amount for my whole face and half way down my neck and it's more than enough. It's dewy, radiant and of course a light coverage, which is everything it's promised to be! It's also easily buildable to a medium coverage. It doesn't photograph as well as a foundation but it does look gorgeous in real life and especially under natural light. There's a little flashback with it but it's nothing I'm extremely dissapointed in, after all it does have an SPF of 30 and that's something I would rather have.Overall, I love it! It's exactly what you want in a tinted moisturiser and more. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something lighter for everyday use. Nobody needs full coverage on a daily basis regardless of the condition of their skin! My skin is far from perfect but hey, it's all about what you're comfortable in.
